RUXIA WANG
My work moves between landscapes, everyday moments, and quick sketches. Through painting and drawing, I explore the quiet presence of the world around me, the fleeting moments of daily life, and the way inner thoughts echo outward.

Mountains and natural scenes become a lens to reflect distance and stillness; daily paintings capture intimate, everyday experiences; while sketches trace transient gestures and ideas.

Based in New York, my practice is both a visual diary and an exploration of
perception, memory, and subtle emotional states.

Across landscape and daily space, these works explore environment as emotional terrain.
Gesture, layering, and abstraction are used to reflect memory, time, and lived experience.

This series takes the mountain as a point of departure rather than a subject.

Through layered textures and shifting forms, the works explore memory, time, and emotional movement.
